There are 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. That means there are 168 hours in a week.
11 hours are spent working
25+ hours are spent at cross country practice
18 hours are spent in class
That alone demands a total of 54 hours performing at my peak ability.
Ideally 8 hours of sleep times 7 days a week takes 56 more hours. A half hour to enjoy a meal three times a day totals about 11 hours.
121 out of my 165 hours are gone. 73% of my week is gone to these obligations.
I spend on average about 4 hours a day doing homework, studying, visiting my professors in office hours or working in study groups. That comes to about 28 hours a week.
90% of my week is gone.
That means I get about 17 hours a week where I am not obligated to do anything. That's on average 2.4 hours out of the 24 hours in a day that I get to myself. But I have to do my laundry, the dishes, keep my room clean, get groceries, and run other random errands that every day life requires.
Everyone asks how I do it all and not get stressed. I guess the answer is that I absolutely love running, my team is my family, and I find my classes genuinely interesting. On weekends I usually go to watch football games, soccer games, and volleyball games or my friends and I will get pick up games going ourselves.
In a nutshell, I keep busy, to say the least.
